During the NEDS, Ernst Vonk, director of Vonk B.V. and Joe Pimenoff, director of the Finnish company Oy Telva Ab, signed a distribution agreement. This relationship arose during the first Dutch NIDV trade mission in May 2023 to our new NATO partner Finland. With this agreement, Vonk B.V. has become distributor for the BENELUX of the infrared light source OBSIDIAN™. The OBSIDIAN™ is unique in the world due to its very limited light range. This makes working in complete darkness safer for those who do not want to be seen. The application of the OBSIDIAN™ is extremely diverse and has many interesting possibilities. This not only applies to the military domain but e.g., also police, customs and industry.
